Coffee contains other stimulants besides caffeine, what may have a stronger effect on you. Try brewing weaker coffee or adding milk or cream, it should reduce the buzz effect.

I think even decaf has a small amount of caffeine in it if you read the fine print. So, if brewed very strongly, you would get a little caffeine. I wouldn't think it would be enough to constitute a "buzz" but maybe?

I'm not sure about this, but I think even decaf coffee has some caffeine left in it...maybe you're getting just enough into your bloodstream to give you a buzz when you brew it too strongly.

"decaf" coffee is not 100% caffiene free ....
