I just think they look nice on his grave. I was thinking a tie, but really would that make any sense?

Oh my dear Lord jelly, this is terrible to do on this day in particular!
i got to tell you he is rolling over in that grave right about now!
What are you thinking?
But in answer to your question if it is that, flowers would be an appropriate gift and one that no one will think you are on some kind of really bad drugs over!
Ahhhhgggggghhhhh! Charlie Brown!

I'd say get him a wallet or a gift certificate! Flowers are more for women, and graves! If you give, most men, flowers they'll be dried up in 2 days!

Flower is ok for grave. And satisfying a wish of his is better if he is alive.

How about a six pack...maybe you could even sit there and share it with him. Or just leave it, someone will come along and get some use out of it.

He would prefer a nice longboard, preferably a robert august brand, left at his grave site. Please put address of cemetary on your profile, so I may, errr, pay my respects to your Da as well.
