i really don't think they know what it is. besides most of the answers would still be incomprehensible do to the poor grammar.

May be because they want to get there points more quickly than to waste time using the spell check.

It's quicker not to use the button right above the little box you're typing in. Dugh. Lol. Peope are so lazy.

I think people get so excited when they think they know the answer that they type as fast as they can and click submit to see their very own words on the screen.

cuz then i wont be able to read my own typing and it slows you down i started typing this when the question came up dang that took a long time

sometimes they are trying to nail down the 2 points so fast that they forget....or perhaps they just don't care.
(i'm really glad it's here personally..but do forget once in a while:)
