Who ever you worship. I think its ultimately goes to shapeless God. Why does not he/she/it show us the right way or he/she/it chooses us to live life with differences. These days (and in old days as well) relegions have played a vast role in making the communities to fight each other than to love each other or love humanity.

Different Religions have different gods.

Christianity and Judaism worship the same God although Islam claims that Allah is the same as YHWH (Judeo-Christian God), but if ya examine History that is not true because Allah of Islam is a Moon god who was head of several gods in a pre-Islam religion that Muhammed had intermingled into Islam with Christian and Jewish beliefs.

Muhammed eliminated all gods but Allah from the Pagan religion when inventing Islam.

The Sikhs believe in one god themselves but their god is also different from YHWH but also completely different from Allah as well.

Buddhism denies a creator so some Buddhists deny there is a god and some believe Buddha to be their god.

Some even believe The Dalai Lama is the living god (some actually pray to him but the Dalai Lama admits he is Human and not a god).

The Shinto religion of Japan use to believe that the Emperor of Japan was a god and divine but in 1947 Emperor Hiroheithro admitted to his subjects that he was not divine and thus not god.

While it did not kill the Shinto faith it certainly shattered it big time.

On the other hand the evidence that Jesus is the Christ is very clear, not to mention the Tomb of Christ is empty and 500 witnesses saw him die and return to life again.

If Christ did not rise these 500 Witnesses would never have been known at all.

Jehovah God has from the very beginning offered loving counsel and guidance.Firstly, with Adam and Eve who chose to govern themselves and alienated themselves from their Creator.Since the rebellion in the Garden of Eden, those who chose to follow God's counsel were few and far between.
Nimrod stood in opposition to God.He too wanted the worship that rightly belonged to Jehovah. That is why he kept the people together and set about buliding cities, including the tower of Babel. When Jehovah confused the language of the people they all set off in different directions and took their false teachings and forms of worship with them.
Because of Abrahams faithfulness and obedience,Jehovah made a covenant with Abraham that his offspring would become a great nation and become God's special property. However even though the Nation of Israel agreed to obey and worship Jehovah, time and
time again they too disobeyed and strayed from Jehovah God.Instead choosing to get involved with the pagan worship around them.
When Satan tricked Adam and Eve to sin, they made Satan their god,and over the centuries man has created thousands of gods(2Cor.4:4)
The Bible teaches there is only ONE TRUE God and His name is JEHOVAH..(Micah4:5;Acts2:21;
Rom.10:13).
Jehovah God has provided us with an instruction manuel-His Holy Word, the Bible. But how many today live by and folloq the Bibles principles and guidelines?
The Bible clearly states at John 13:35 that Jesus'disciples would be recognised by the love they have among themselves.Time and time again the Bible admonishes us to display love and compassion to each other. How many of the so called Christian religions follow this direction from their Creator.Of course, religion has played a big part in the suffering and disunity in the world. But that is only because the majority of mankind has deviated from the Bible and just as Adam and Eve they too chose to make their own decisions, including their form of worship.
At Isa.48:17-19 our Creator pleads-"This is what Jehovah has said, your Repurchaser, the Holy One of Israel:"I,Jehovah,am your God,the teaching you to benefit yourself, the One causing you to tread in the way in which you should walk.O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river and your righteousness like the waves of the sea."
There is much much more to be said. But time and space does not permit. You would do well to consider having a free home bible study.Jehovah's Witnesses would be only too happy to assist you to come to an understanding of our Heavenly Father and his requirements for a happy and peaceful life now,and to come.

There are thousands of different religions because people have invented thousands of different gods. It's just that simple. Each group claims that THEIR holy book and THEIR way of life is correct, while everyone else's is wrong. This is the nature of religion--it is divisive, it produces an "us vs. them" mentality, it causes people to believe that they are special and loved by their god, while everyone else deserves to go to hell.

Do yourself a favor and reject all of them. If there was a deity, don't you think it would have made itself known in some tangible, provable, undeniable way that everyone would understand and accept? Don't you think it would have the power to do this? If it exists, and does not have this power, then it is hardly worthy of your affection and worship. If it exists, and it has this power, but refuses to use it, then it sends people to hell for something that is not their fault--and again, it is not worthy of affection and worship. As it is, there is no proof whatsoever for the existence of ANY of the thousands of deities that mankind has worshipped. It's all fantasy.

Concept of God is based on belief, faith, and power of myth.

People's fear of the unknown and death have been capitalized by schemers from the beginning of time.

Hindu top God Brahma is older than Jewish/Christian top God. Moses Christ and Allah are BELIEVED to be prophets of the same top God. But think about it, Jewish people were almost exterminated by supposedly christian Hitler (some say the Catholic Church even covered it up). Today in the name of Allah some commit terrible atrocities. (Prophets of the same GOD!?).
Hindu God Krishna forced WAR in Bhagawath Githa.

My point is that humans have been manipulated and brainwashed to believe in so called Gods to enable some to DO WHAT THEY WANT and rule .Sad! Sad!

You have a very simple way of thinking. God is more than just an idea and but a point of strength for humanity and its oppression in society.
