Drink lots of water and eat a diet that has enough fibre. When your body digests fibre the fibre sucks up fats and they are passed out into your bowel and removed. Water ensures you are well hydrated and that way your body does not retain fluid which it will if you don't drink enough, and then you will look bloated. Remember that when you drink fluid it weighs pretty much 1kg for a litre of fluid, so remember this when you weigh yourself. You should drink 1.5Litres a day. Also, go for a brisk walk EVERY DAY! This is the best thing you can do for your body. If you go before you eat breakfast and you can manage about 30 minutes of BRISK walking then your body will start fueling from your fat stores to kick start your metabolism for the day. When you get home and eat breakfast the breakfast fuels your metabolism even more and it speeds up and burns off more fuel/food/fat stored in your body. Eat snacks such as carrot or cellery sticks between meals as these are so low in calories that you may as well say you haven't eaten them. Don't bother with any fad diets just eat relatively normally and avoid those sweet foods as they are loaded with calories that have no nutritional value. If you have to have something sweet try the sugar free lollies made for diabetics. If you try this and keep it up you will see the benefits and you wont regret being sensible. If you try one of those quick fix lose 5kg in a week type diets you will just get flabby and end up worse than you started with. It takes determination and persistence to lose weight properly. If you do it my way and speed your metabolism up in the process eventually you can lash out and eat a treat here or there and your body will burn it up. Good Luck!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

The deal about losing weight is it will not come off in one particular spot like the waist. when you start losing weight it will go from your waist and other spots. Since it is fat on your waist it might go a little bit quicker once that fat cells start shrinking. no magic formula. you will have to lose it all over.
