I'm not a christian, but I always defended the islamic faith saying it was peaceful and good, etc. This was because I thought however misguided religions were still inherently good.

While on this site I kept seeing questions and quotes from the quran that I thought seemed a bit strange and out of line with my previous thoughts, that religions were based on books that were inherently good. So I thought Ok, I better read this one and check it out for myself, I have the read the bible so its only fair, (although I didn't believe the bible either).

To be honest, I won't go into detail so don't worry, I was absolutely horrified by what I found. I do not like the quran, and did not find it to be the revealed word of a 'god'.

Equally I found parts of the bible (spefically the OT) equally horrific. I do like parts of the bible stories as myths though, and some of the teachings are good, but were already known about in philosophy without the need for religion anyway.

I paintings in Iraq. and performance study aspects of the English version. And had one of my Muslim, Iraqi friends interpret there version. both do no longer tournament. yet in the previous all people factors palms. The christian faith continues to be the bloodiest in heritage. women were no longer even called human. until eventually eventually the 1700's. We did no longer have any help in getting into the destiny. area of our new interest is to direct the Muslim's in which course to take there faith. The Bible has replaced over the years. to compare the cases. So can the Quran. similar to the christian religan. There are diffent, beleaves interior a similar words. yet were christans have (Baptist, Cathlic, Prodistant,) and just about 20 diffent subsetions in each and each of those. The Muslins have 3 sects. and round 3 subsetions in each and each. The Quran dose state. that's there responesibility to remodel the infidels to the muslim understand-how. And to rid the international of those who refuse to beleave. (So did the christions) 2 of the sects are farly peacful. The third is amazingly lively in there beleaves. (yet there are extreamist in the christion faith also.) now no longer in reality is the religion diffent, although both cultures are way diffent. i'm a westiner. yet I travle throw Dubia offten. I actually were everywhere in the US. And Dubia places all citys in Amairca to shame. Dubia is merely captivating. you may see it understand. ok sorry about that. merely seem it up. besides we merely desire to be understand-how. There'r no longer going to modify there religin, yet they might regulate there beleifes. a similar way the bible's been changed over the years. it really is closed mines that reason probles. And freedom is rarely loose. God bless america of a.

If you firmly believe in the Holy Bible, then the Quran will send you for a tailspin. There are too many noticeable differences... Number of wives, killing, not to mention the Quran portrays Jesus as a prophet, and not the Savior and Son Of God (Which is the very foundation of Christianity). They're completly sepearate entities. I prefer the Bible myself (Though I don't exactly life a Saintly life).

Don't you read any of the answers on this website?
Your book is foolishness, and every intelligent person who looks at it recognizes that as fact.
It is well documented that the book is fiction. Too much violence. It condones killing people! YUCK!
Try the bible for something beautiful from a loving God.

I've read parts of it, not enough to really say that I'm familiar with it. I read it to see what it really says about Muslims, Christians, Jews, how people should treat their wives, etc.
