ok, speaking for the guy, i wouldnt know. but my buddy had done the same thing. well, guess wat, he is back with the original gf. i dont know how that helps, but i want to say, please dont expect him to return, coz, if he does, what the hell will you do. what if he like another gal. i keep telling my buddy's gal to think about this seriously. she is too damn in love with him. go figure...

Depends on how he did it. If he was having the affair behind my back, then I would be finished with both of them. If he broke it off because he thought he had feelings for her and was open about it....I'd let him go. Better to get stung now than crushed later.
As far as the really close friend goes, as long as they didn't do anything behind my back I'd be OK with it. I would support their decision to go out with my now ex, but remind them that he just left you for them....and might do it again with someone else.
At the point he decided to leave though, I would cut him out of my life as far as becoming a BF again. Friends fine, but no more. He had his chance...and it is now over. No sense in becoming a doormat for him.

Get some new interests quick 'cuz this is the kind of thing that can really play havoc with your psyche. Stay busy. Ignore the two of them. If they are determined to have a drama let them try having it without you. Do NOT let them see how much they hurt you. Your attitude has to be that they are not that important. Good Luck with your acting challenge. It will be character-building, if nothing else.

Let go of the hurt and realize that if he did this to you, he'll likely do it to the friend and depending on how close you are to your friend, you may want to warn her.

i'll be happy that the wrong guy is gone...coz if dat guy left u 4 a very close freind means dat he doesnt luv u at all n also dat he doesnt care bout ur feeling........so just show him dat he is a loser n don waste ur tears 4 a guy soo worthless!!!!!!!
