Yes, everyone here is right, all the stuff at your job will have to be changed. Insurance is an important part.
One of the major things your wife will have to do right away is get in touch with the Social Security Office though, especially if she works. That can really mess her up later if it isn't done very soon.
Her driver's license will be another one, and you've probably already thought about bank accounts and such. The biggest job will be hers, if she's changing her last name to yours, but none of it is hard to do, or even very complicated. You may both have to show your marriage certificate as proof.
Good luck on your new life!

I laughed for about 10 minutes after reading this. Nothing happens automatically - of course you have to let your company and inland revenue know about your marriage. Yeah, like everybody's just psychic and they all know your business! Sheesh. Oh, and ignore the woman below and doublecheck to make sure all your changes are made - DO NOT EVER COUNT ON THINGS TO BE DONE AUTOMATICALLY.

You notify your employer as soon as possible. The internal revenue service can wait until you file your taxes.

you should inform your company that youve got married, and fill in the forms for the tax office, could be better off tax wise, once eevryone knows of the change in your circumstances.

You should inform your employer. They will need to change tax info, next of kin, beneficiaries etc.

You'll have to do it all yourself. Shouldn't make any difference to the Revenue, though.

Nothing is automatic. You must notify everyone that you want to notify. Your wife will actively have to change her name on everything too....again...nothing is automatic.

you will need to inform your employer, because they are not supposed to change your taxes unless you tell them
