It really depends on how comfortable you are with your height. a relative of mine (who wishes to not be included on anything I write online) is 5'11. She dated a man who was 5'6. Everything was just fine (except for the fact that we couldn't stop making fun of him: aside from being short, he had other, um, physical attributes that made him pretty comical) until he cheated on her. But that had nothing to do with his napoleonic stature!
My advice? If you exude confidence and charm, there are many of us giant women who are willing to overlook (pardon the pun) your vertical limits. It's true, women like taller men as a rule. I guess it's some kind of primordial instinct, like a taller man is stronger and therefore able to protect you, bla bla bla. But in this day and age, a good man is hard to come by and is a rare treat, no matter how high your head is from the ground.
Be short, be proud, and go for it!

I like it if my guy's taller than I am, but it doesn't matter to some women.

shouldnt matter if you like eachother. Its personal preference. Personally I like my men to be taller but if she is a tall girl it might be difficult!

It depends on the girl some girls dont care some do. i personally will not date people shorter then me but i am 5 ft 4 so not many people are shorter then me anyways LMAO!
