I have an interview for citizenship next month but i lost my green card and passport which the INS require me to bring. What should I do? When I had my appointment for fingerprinting, I also didn't have my green card and passport. I only had my driver's license and police report for lost document, and they accepted me.Now I have my appointment for interview, should I renew my green card or should I just bring my police report as an evidence that I lost my green card and passport?

check with uscis as far as replacement for the green card and check with the embassy or consulate of your native country for replacement of the passport. i would get on these steps as soon as possible. good luck.

Yes you need it, but I don't think they would refuse to take your interview if you have lost your Green Card.
