In Islam divorce is the most hateful permissible act any one can do, it is a destruction of brick in the wall of good society.
I will never think of it, and if things go bad, I will do my best to keep my family intact, and I am prepared to go far enough to please Allah.

Love without discipline (learning good habits) doesn't work. Discipline without love is meaningless. The question is vague enough to warrent further discourse prior to answering, however it should suffice to say that an unfocused male wont do anything to save a marriage regardless of love, and a focused male wont do anything without love.

Remember, all men are inherently children and still look to their 'mommys' for help until they are forced to grow up. That's where discipline comes in.

Also, consider that saving an ailing marriage is a bit like fighting a tumor after you've decided not to quit smoking for thirty years. How diseased is the marriage?

One thing not to consider is how a marriage (or divorce) affects the children involved. Too many marriages stay alive long after they've gone 'terminal' just to keep the children in a steady environment. This is a lie that both parents tell themselves to make them feel better. Honesty is always the best recourse, and in the end will teach more about life than living a lie will.

Best of luck.

After 24 years of marriage, its not always lovely, but shes my wife and as far as I know she never step out of bounds, but I could not leaver now I have kids and grand kids.
If you still have some feeling and want it to work than keep trying as long as neither of you step out of bounds or become to controlling, its worth a chance
I do what I want, fishing, hunting, hang out w/friends at the bar every now and then and if i get bombed she'll come and get me and she does the same except she does not drink, she trust me and I trust her. Trust and loyalty are truly the key

I went too far in saving mine. But its done. It should depend of what is wrong with the marriage, sometimes divorce is the best answer unfortunately. If there has been infidelity-divorce is the only way to happiness. If the problem is just incompatibility-then it can be fixed.

I'd sing "Fascination" in front of a whole restaurant to bring back some passion and love.
But then again I'm in highschool, I'd do a lot of things I probably wont do in 15 years.

sorry i know i am not a man but i have notice you ask alot of life questions and you are asking question that show you are having alot of problems and it seems you are trying to make every one happy and trying to make everything good so when does it become about you? You should maybe decide what is good for you and what you can do to make yourself happy try to worry about yourself for once. You are # 1 not anyone else well unless you have children then the come before you but also you have to be happy for them to benefit from your parenting
