It's a waste of time, you can drag your negative feelings out on others, it does nothing to the true believers. Is it fun for you or something? Honestly noone is going to convert anyone to any belief whether they are athiest, muslim, jewish, or christian, we're all going to have the same opinion or be upset and fire back at the person who asked, so can't we all just respect eachother, instead of trying to prove everyone wrong, it's all in vain and does nothing..

I think your OK. But I also think it is not only a conversion problem. It depends on how wide you are to other beliefs. If you listen the reasons of other beliefs you could think better about it and even adopt some of their world´s visions. You could say, OK, but it sounds like you were not really, let´s say, Catholic or Protestant. But if in the end we are talking of the same God, well, every religion on Earth could have a little bit of the Truth. Why not try to understand, and not only tolerate, other people´s beliefs? Then you could more sure and qualified to make a choice, if there´s any.

perchance. actually everyone appears going to believe although they prefer to believe and if what they think is preposterous to commence with that's going to be much harder to dissuade someone utilising common sense and truth. I actually have a competent time with exhibiting the impossibilities of God. It entertains me. I take it heavily at the same time as i'm having a debate that concerns peoples rights in the face of religion. lately I actually were getting uninterested in disproving some thing so ridiculous to commence with. that's has develop into unfulfilling. Who am I kidding? that's a lot exciting!

How about this.....
Trying to prove something RIGHT!
Its not a question of I'm right, you're wrong.
Rather: The truth is out there, how much of it have you found?
Let's share results.
Even scientists show other scientists that some theories are wrong.
So what. We should be grateful for the heads up.
And when someone is right ....adopt the idea.
And we'll all get down this path together.

"Respect" is the key word here. Many "believers" are bigots who have no "respect" for others' "beliefs." This could be a wonderful forum for an exchange of ideas and concepts if we were all to keep an open mind to what others have to say.

I agree PrincessZ, heritage, culture and how you were raised play an important part of what you believe. In truth you can follow any religion you choose and give the same respect for someone that believes different.

Finally, someone with some sense. The lack of religious tolerance is one of the reasons the world's in the sorry state it's in right now. Really, if it was just live and let live, I think everyone would happy.

You're correct. There's an old saying that goes, "A man convinced his will, is of the same opinion still." But I tell you what, while I don't try to convert Muslims to my way of thinking, I despise them.

you are right. people are always talking bad about us being Jehovah Witnesses. we have feelings just like anyone else. we cry and laugh. we shop and pay bills just like anyone else. we are doing what Jesus asked us to do. if you or anyone else is not interested don't be rude, just say we are not interested. we will never get mad, we will say have a good day and leave you with a smile. also. people need to wake up. we are not a cult. we are a religion

because they are loosing sight of the love god gives, they've forgotten that every single good thing that they have gained, recieved, done, is by the hands of God's love. the human race, i've noticed has become ungrateful and has filled the time of prayer with negative feelings about god.
"they will know we are Christians by our love"
