And Im going to ask the same question, with a twist. What's your most embarrassing moment involving your child(ren)? When my daughter was 3, I was with her in a grocery store and she saw a penguin on a frozen tv dinner box. At the time, she didnt know what a penguin was and said (in a voice loud enough to make a couple people around us snicker) "Look Mom! It's a peckerwood!" (instead of a woodpecker...) I wanted to die!!!

When my daughter was 5 she come back from a visit with her dad (he hates the police) we were walking through the shopping centre when all of a sudden in the loudest voice possible she said "look mum there are a couple of "pigs" She was refering to the police officers on duty I was highly embarresed by the whole situation much to the amusement of my fellow shoppers and the police themselves but I still got them to talk to my daughter about what she called them!

My daughter, when she was 4, was hugely attracted to insects, often coming home with the scariest looking Jurassic Park escapee between her fingers (at the time, we lived in the Orient, where I was working at a University, so the bugs were pretty scary sometimes).

Anyhow, at a welcome party for all new ex-pats at the Consulate, my little daughter ran up to me with a plastic box full of insects she had gathered in the grass, while I was speaking to my new colleagues and the Consul General: "Look Daddy...look! I'm making a buggery!"
