DO NOT FEED IT WORMS worms can carry worms that can go into the baby birds liver and give its life span a down chance.
This is what you want to feed it.
Dog food with for fruites and vege's than corn.
1 tums.
1 boiled egg.
some apple sauce.
Now let it sit and then mix till its nice and soft.
Keep it in a quiet room and if you realy want to you can keep the sparrow since there not native to canada or you can give it to a bird rehaber.
Now that baby bird formula is right for that baby bird I know because I raise baby birds.
Good luck.:)
Oh yes NEVER give a baby bird water at such a small age it can kill them going down the wrong toob you never see mama birds bringing baby birds water because its in all the bugs they feed it.
All the water this baby bird needs is in that formula I told you.

Bugs and worms. Under no circumstances feed them any liquids! That can drown the bird. The bugs and worms have all the fluids that the bird will need.

I think it is a better idea to take him to a wildlife shelter and reahabilitation center. They will take care of him.
