Disagree. The meaning of life is the struggle to become self-aware and to find value in the challenges, to learn to appreciate the eternal over the temporary, to attempt to realize a higher level of consciousness, to discover truth and defend justice, to preserve the innocent, and bring harmony where there was only chaos. The meaning of life is to make this temporary existence more meaningful, more hopeful, more just. Life is the ultimate challenge, because there is never total victory, nor total defeat. Only through growth and sacrifice can there be greatness, and a good person is only forged by the fires of misfortune and injustice. Even evil serves a purpose; to allow mankind to realize thier own errors.

To attempt to find the ultimate source of all truth is the fundamental religious struggle. In my estimation, the truth itself is the genesis of all natural and physical laws, and is proof of the existence of existence itself, and of nonexistence, and therefore, proof of right and wrong, good and evil, logic and irrelevance.

In my opinion, God's presence in this universe is in the form of Truth itself.

I'm not Aristotle or any of those other dudes that had the time to sit around and contemplate life, morals, ect. In fact, I'm convinced that they had entirely too much time on their hands. The meaning of life? In my opinion, it's up to you to formulate your own definition of what it means to exist. From a scientific standpoint, humans have a purpose in the ''ecosystem'' - which is to supply plants with carbon dioxide. From a religious perspective, humans exist to uphold God's values while enduring temptation in an evil world. Other than this, I guess life is what you make of it.

No you are wrong! True meaning & purpose of life is to seek spiritual truth and eventually relinguish all earthly desires so as to reunite with the Almighty as a pure spiritual being!

Note: If the purpose of life - is just to live, then why should there be any religion? The works of Great Souls like Buddha, Mohammad, Jesus, Rishis - to course-correct humanities way of life would be useless.

Deu 6:4,5; Mark 12: 28-34. Tells us what the real meaning of life is, it is more than just existing from day to day, it is knowing that up there is someone who really does care for and about you, and will listen too all that you have to say, and will, as far as you let Him, help you.

Yes, the meaning of life is to exist, but if people find comfort in believing some divine being has plans for them, why not.

Maybe. The meaning of life is either defined by the person living the life, or it's defined by some overriding supernatural entity. If that meaning is "to exist," then yes. But it may not be.

Agree. But the purpose of Life is to work with God to finish His creation and to bring peace on earth.
Some would say He finished His creation with the 7-day Big Bang and has His finger on the switch for the final destruction. Hmmmm

The purpose of human life is to pave the entire planet before we pollute it so badly that human life cannot be supported. Who is going to be here to see it and record the victory.. Robots I suppose.
