The reason for writing it with capital letters is not out of respect, it is a grammatical issue. Jesus is a proper name, so unless you are ready to write your own name without capital letters, it's your problem.

The word God is written with capitals because you are talking about a "specific" god, again not out of respect. If for example there was a very special dog in the world, one that everyone knew, and everyone referred to him as "the dog", you would need to write it as "the Dog". Again, as you see it is about a grammatical thing.

And by the way, if you write it without capital letters you will only make yourself a fool. Don't think you're gonna get respect for your "beliefs" this way. There are more inteligent ways to do it.

The computer I have automatically spells God and Jesus with small letters unless I make the correction myself. Some just go along with the way the computer does it.

I don't know what you're afraid of, but if God and Jesus were in a book in the library it would be under non-fiction.

so yeah u can spell god and jesus, i don't think God will damn u to hell for it, but whatever, it's not a big deal.

I only capitalize Jesus' name because I know he was a real person. Though I recognize him as a man, not a deity.

I dont exactly refuse to, but I dont think god has to be spelled capital. As for Jesus, its a proper name man! You better spell it capital if you dont want to fail in your english class!

You're the same type person that would ask, "Why don't people respect other people, why isn't there more love in the world"? You're
reasoning is very juvenile and shows ignorance on your part.
