Coffee. An 8 oz cup of coffee averages about 300mg of caffeine. Tea with caffeine is lucky to have 25-50 mg for an 8 oz cup

Coffee has more caffeine. It is a common misconception that tea has more caffeine in it, but coffee has between 85-135mg of caffeine, while tea only has 40mg.

coffee...& unlike people tend to think, the lighter the roast of the bean, the more caffeine it has in it. Espresso would have less caffeine than a cup of house blend.

I'd say coffee, but it might depend on the type of tea you're comparing it to

one of those energy drinks.. Jolt if it is still around.. red bull.. is another.. starbucks cappachino in the small bottle at convenience stores.. they have plenty of caffiene pills like NoDoz .. there is another popular one that I can't think of.. they can be added to anything.. but don't over-do it.. no sense staying up all night if your heart is gonna pound its way out of your chest.. that would make an awful mess to have to take care of when the sun rose in the morning :) .. I think tea tastes disgusting.. but some have far more caffiene than coffee
