i am 14 and i weigh 9 and a half stone. i'm not the fattest person but want to loseat least a stone in 8 weeks. any tips?

you cant lose weight fast and be healthy, i dont think you should be worrying about this at your age , you are still growing and developing. Enjoy your life each day and stop worrying about your weight, the worrying will put more weight on ......so stop i bet you are a beautiful person, be positive about the good parts of your nature and work on them instead. be happy.

Quick weight loss never works out. You need to take slimming at a steadier pace. You give your weight but not your height! It's hard to know if you are really overweight or simply believe you are.

But if you want to lose some weight then i'm afraid you need to put up with the boring two !!!

1. Cut down your eating, avoid greasy food, have plenty of salads
instead, avoid choclates, candies and sweet stuff, replace
them with fresh fruits and yoghurts. Swap sodas for still
water

2. Increase your exercise. Walk more, go swimming and dance!
You can dance in your own room, simply switch some music
on and dance! It's a great work out.

Do this for a few weeks and you'll see the weight begin to drop steadily, your complexion will improve and you'll feel a lot better for it but!!!

Eat plenty of fruit and veg, exercise and don't go to school in a car....learn to walk, i'm 10 and I only weigh 3 and a half stone. Most people at my age weigh 6 stone, so keep to my diet, it really works.

How much is a stone??? They say that around 2 pounds a week is a healthy amount to lose. The best way to lose the weight and keep it off is thorough diet and exercise.

Yeah, do plenty of exercise and eat no more than 2500 calories a day. Drink only water. Also, question yourself: Why do you feel you have to lose weight? Unless it's for some medical reason, get over it, it's okay to be a bit on the chubby side.

i dont know how much a stone weighs but the best way to lose weight is by exercising and eating lesser amounts of junk and fattening foods,if u follow both the things then u will be able to lose weight quickly and efficently

Exercise every day, even if it's just a walk. Go on a high protein, low carbohydrate diet. Eat fish, eggs, chicken, occasional lean beef or pork, low fat cottage cheese. Stay away from regular cheese, no bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, peas, beans (except green beans). Only one piece of fruit a day and no fruit juice (it's sugar water, my dr says). Cut down on carrots and tomatoes (included ketchup). Use mustard instead of mayonnaise in recipes. Eat lots of salads, green vegetables. Salads only have one tablespoon of dressing for the whole salad. No ice cream, or other desserts.

the atkins diet introduction fortnight should loose you at least half a stone if you follow it properly but dont go to extremes and do get hold of a copy of the book and read it, i lost two and a half stones in ten weeks

You could always join Weight Watchers or Slimming World, I know alot of people who use these groups and if you keep to it they work.
Don't try and lose weight too quickly, try a little at a time because your not very big already you won't see much drop off in a short space of time.
Eat and think healthy :)

How tall are you?

Are you sure you should be losing that much weight as you are still growing. Because of that, the safest way for you to lose weight would be healthy eating, making sure you are getting 5 portions of veg and fruit and exercise.

Loosing weight fast never works you only pile it back again, and guess what extra weight on top so your double the size. The best way to loose weight is to do it sensibly and carefully by eating healthy low fat foods, and exercising regually.
