They're right, it's all the hormones going wild. And it's not just during our periods, it starts beforehand and shows up in many different ways. With me, I tend to believe that the kids are being sassy all the time and that my husband is just itching for a fight or trying to piss me off on purpose.

There are pills to help keep this under control, but for goodness sake, don't tell her she needs to take one!

I've never been a woman, but I have been in foul moods and been irritated by people before.

Imagine someone has been flicking your earlobes for the past hour, and flicking water in your face. Now you are pissed off.

Now, go into another room and attempt to be calm and non-confrontational. It's not easy. You know as well as I do that women's hormones can put them in a pissy mood. It's virtually impossible to be understanding and reasonable when your temper is flaring, or you are moody.

Try having someone do the experiment I just described, and I will bet you will act even pissier than women who have to go through this every month. As a man, I realize I have it easy.

The only thing men have to deal with is when we are celibate or in a dry spell we have uncomfortable erections and we get seriously depressed. I don't see women react in any similar way to long periods of no sex.

Tense. It has something to do with hormones and such, sorry, can't help being a bit harsh then. Imagine this: suddenly your back hurts, your tummy heavy, you've got headache and your mind keeps wandering about. Everything just goes wrong! You man dont have to suffer it, so it's easy for you to just say, relax.

Its not our fault. During periods our body undergoes many changes which affect our health and mental status. This happens bcos of hormonal changes.
