Not all of them!
If you go "bar shopping" for them then most likely you will wind up with one that does. Although there are some very nice bar ladies I have met. The thing is if you get involved with one ( a bar girl) you are going to most likely get involved in their bar life which usually means you are going to be paying someone $$$ eventhough she may not necessarily want your money. You may need to help her friends.....etc........or someone else....their family is where most of it goes, who better to get it from than a farang?....The bar scene in thailand can be a shady place - Good bars definitely exist though.
On the other hand, you may meet someone not associated with the bar scene that is great (You can also meet women that want your money out of the bar scene!....It goes both ways!).
My advice:
Be cautious and get to know the lady first before committing to anything. Also, if you are looking for a serious girlfriend stay away from the bar scene. Stay away!. Most likely a bar girl will just bring problems.
By the way, a little bar etiquette advice in Thailand:
If you are going to live in Thailand for awhile, I recommend becoming a regular in a bar that you like instead of bar hopping!
When I find a bar that is run by nice people (where they appreciate your company as opposed only to your money) I become a regular. I get to know the people who work there. This pays dividends later. So if you ever have a problem they will help you. They will look after you. Thais can be very loyal.
If you go bar hopping it will generally be more expensive and you are most likely to get burned and you do not get to know anyone at the same time.
Thats my advice!
Good Luck, Have fun! and remember to think with your Big head instead of the little one below!.........LOL!

Hey man - you know the drill. Each case is different. A poor guy with a big nose is a poor guy with a big nose. A rich guy with a big nose is eccentric looking. When Lee Iacoca turned around Chrysler Corp - he was voted sexiest man of the year.. Give him a hard hat and put him on the production line and I bet he couldn't get a date on Saturday night... Younger people are more drawn to sexy - older to security. Thai ladies often feel old and are regarded as old by the society at 27.. My wife's sister is 29 and she can't get a job in a factory because she is considered too old.. And on a certain level, money can be attractive.. if someone has no money by a certain point in their lives, it can kind of, possibly, mean that they don't have too much going for them.. people who are accomplished, smart, etc.. are simply more attractive - - more interesting to talk with and spend time with.. - - and you might ask the same question about falang women too.. lots of issues here - Do falang men only love Thai women for their exotic good looks??? - The waters of life oft run shallow - don't dive in before testing w/your toe first -

If you are willing to buy a woman, you can practically buy any woman anywhere in the world. You can say the same for any country you come across and the answer may be a yes. Even in your own country.
You have to understand the physiology behind the motive. For many, it is a way out of the poverty line. But more importantly, a way to feed their family, in exchange for their singlehood. So it is actually a self-sacrifice for the sake of th family. So it will be nice not to look down on the Thai woman and generalise them as such.
I do know of Thai women, many who were frustrated and fed up at the local men's way of life that they felt marrying a farang as a better option than marrying a local. Purely this. They feel that the farang can give them true love as compared to the local men.
Try to know the people better. You will understand better too.

I can only say this...I myself met a girl on the internet,I was new to the net and was nieve,I was lonely also and looking for someone to talk with,I met this girl and she seemed so nice and sweet,we talked and became good friends,we talked almost every day with no hint from her of any monetary intentions, until about a year after we met...Then she started in with the games "My mom is sick, need $$$","I am sick, need $$","Bird flu killed all mom's chickens, need $$","My bike broke, need $$" "my mom;s house fell down, need $$" ok yea I was stupid and sent her $$$ for 3 years !! BUT after I finally wised up and got away from her I met a wonderful girl from BKK who is now my best friend and I know her,her family and everything about her and she is totally different than the other one,so all I can say is "every Thai girl is not after your $$,but some are,so be careful and dont trust everyone who has a sad story"

Please get to know each individual before making a general comment. Thai women? How about Anna Nicole Smith? For some, it's a way out of poverty, for others..a way to get some respect from society. Thai society places (misguided) values on "Family name" so if you're a nobody..then one way to get some respect is to marry a foreigner. Even then, white foreigners rank higher than African or Indian. Yet for others, they have their own reasons. Walk a mile in their shoes before making such comment.

No. They love falang bcoz they can "show off" their husband to their friends. It's like a trend in thailand to marry caucasian, though.

This is a dumb question. sorry to say. It's like asking "how long is a ball of string?" It is insulting to hear as my mother is a Thai woman.
Like all nationalities and cultures, there are good and bad people. Are all farang's stupid enough to part with their money so easily? I guess not.

Imagin, if you do not know their heart language, but you have lot of money compared to them. What do you think?
What is love if there is no communication? Can a few bar talks be considered as heart talk?
Think about that.
