And if you are blind how can you use the computer to answer me?

I just wondered because I know where to get off from what I see and I think I might get lost if I couldn't look out of the window. In what way is that shallow? If you don't understand the question please don't answer, thanks.

In China there's an automatic voice over the bus loudspeakers at every stop.

My Uncle got every assistance from standing at the bus stop. The driver wanted to know where he was going - he was put in the front seat - automatically vacated if full. All passengers on the bus, or standing in the q rendering every assistance. He passed on before computers came into the forefront of every day life. However, no doubt it would have been done by the same established method as in wars, hospitals and elsewhere. Some person would punch it all into a computer - as he dictated it - ensuring his privacy as well.

They either :
1.Count the stops-eg they know ( since they've asked before or gone with a friend) that their bus-stop is 5 stops from their starting point.
2.Their guide-dog is trained to know.
3.They ask-Almost everbody likes to help the blind.

Maybe the blind person counts the bus stop every time it stops...so if he Get's off on The 4th stop that will be his stop ..or they can ask the bus driver...same as counting the block from bus to home ....i suppose that way.

Um..computers can talk ya know..and listen..and respond [Dragonwire]

and Blind people are MORE aware of their surroundings..as well as time..and so..its just what one gets used to..like remembering wether or not a door pushes shut..or is pulled shut..[do you know that??]

Blind people aren't completely incapable. It's shallow of you to think that they are.
