One of my very favorite books is a book that gives the Bible's view of Creation. It explains very clearly about the happenings of each 'day', as well as the length of those 'days' (not the 24 hour days that many claim). It is scientific (yet not theoretical) as well. It shows how real science & the Bible do harmonize. The name of the book is: "Life--How did it get here? By evolution or by creation?" To arrange to get a copy, you can contact the publisher's Web site*, or you can pick up a copy at a Kingdom Hall.
In the mean time, there are some articles on-line that you may like to check out:
In the first section of this article, you'll find a brief explanation about angels that answers your questions:

Since Job 38:4-7 records God's question to Job as: “Where did you happen to be when I founded the earth . . . when the morning stars joyfully cried out together, and all the sons of God began shouting in applause?” it would therefore seem that the angels (sons of God) were created (individually) before the universe was brought into existence. God's first creation was his only-begotten son (in the heavens) who became a master worker beside him. It is this son God used to bring all other angels into being and then the universe, and then preparation of the earth for habitation, so forth and so on to humans - man and woman, that is to say Adam and Eve.

The first thing God created was his only-begotten son, Jesus Christ. Then through the help of Jesus, other things were created.
Colossians 1:15 He [Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him. 17 Also, he is before all [other] things and by means of him all [other] things were made to exist.
There were no other humans on Earth before Adam and Eve. They were God's first human-creations. Genesis 1:27 And God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.

There are 2 perspectives: One, the earth became coated with thick clouds so the gentle of the solar might desire to no longer penetrate....very resembling the planet Venus is immediately. 2, God is the source of sunshine and allowed His gentle to be victorious in the earth.
