The church I attend is more like a family in that we make it a point to be involved in each others lives. We "deal with" the good, bad, and ugly (so to speak). My wife and a good friend started a clothing ministry which provides clothing to the needy. We are also working with recent African refugees that escaped the killings in their country and are now lost in this one.
I personally am always looking for ways to help others.
By the way, this church "family" has a lot of us who are going on a motorcycle ride after church today as it is "Biker Weekend" here.
Come visit if you're ever in town.

Simple, we don't have time to talk to everyone we see, but all you have to do to show the love is give a common courtesy, genuine smile.

I show love to my neighhbors by having loud parties on weeknights. I pee in the holy water, and the poor should work smarter, not harder, or just kill themselves. But I could be wrong?

Just be yourself, Be kind, and show them your love for Jesus inside you, don't look at the people as races, look at them as Jesus was walking the earth.
