Why has the world been led to believe that HIV is the cause of AIDS when it's not?

I watched the video, so now i have heard two sides of the story. I am open minded so i was able to watch the video unlike some people who have answered to this question. I believe in the video, for now, but i will do more study up on the effects of AZT and about Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. I will not let the basic media fill my head full of lies when the truth is out there somewhere. People need to see videos like this to make them go "Hmm I wonder if thats true, i wonder if I have been lied to." and research both sides of the story, then, and only then, you should be able to state your opinion in a just manor.

Have you ever had a family member or friend die from a common cold because the AIDS virus made their immune system so weak. I have. I was 12 years old when I watched as my uncle withered away to skin and bones from a common cold because AIDS had made his immune system to weak to fight it off.

HIV causes AIDS, it's been proven. Please don't let some video make you believe other wise. Researchers have been trying to to find a cure for HIV/AIDS and right now the best thing they have found was AZT and other drugs for HIV and AIDS. Of course AZT has some effects to it, but so does every drug on the market out there. Something as simple as Tylenol or Motrin can kill you or cause severe liver damage depending on how much you take.

There are hundreds of thousands of people who cannot afford the expensive AIDS medications. These people had HIV and now have AIDS. How can that be when they never even took the medication? Come on now. Please educate yourself more on this subject before you go claiming these things.

well then why in africa where I live, people are dying of Acquired Immune Deficiency syndrome (caused by HIV which in turn CAUSES aids) when they have NEVER EVEN GONE NEAR AZT!!!! Wake up and stop being so gulible. hundreds of people are dying from a cough or a cold every day as they are HIV positive with AIDS and they have no opportunity to ever take AZT. go figure and stop believing government propaganda

A person can acquire the virus HIV in four ways, that is,

1.unprotected sex (exchange of body fluids),
2.sharing infected needles and syringes,
3.from pregnant mother to her womb (30 % chances of transmission) and
4. trnsfusion of infected blood.

Now these reaons allow the virus to enter one's body and start attcking one's nervous system. As soon as HIV enters body, a person is said to be HIV positive. Gradually the body's nervous system weakens and it becomes fully AIDS case. As the name tells Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome; the body 'acquires' the virus, the immunity setup of body starts weakening causing 'deficiency' in body.

Hence, HIV virus LEADS to AIDS.
