Don't use w/ alcohol, and abuse can cause liver dysfunction. Dry mouth, headache. Upset stomach. Do not abuse, and get dosage advise from your doctor. Ask if there is a better alternative. Educate yourself as well.

I am reading this is benadryl. Why would one abuse this over the counter drug? It makes everyone I know drowsy as the label indicates. Why would someone over use unless they are sleeping all the time.If you are abusing, beware. Just as answers indicate there are irreversible damages that can occur to you and you could possibly accidentally overdose.

Hm.....that's Benadryl, right? I went to my doctor with severe stomach pains a couple of months ago, and he told me it was because of my over-use of it for my allergies. Since it's designed to "dry up" your sinuses, using it too much can dry up other stuff too, including your stomach lining. So don't overdo it !
