I've done it on and off for years.
First had one in the late 70's.
Taste wierd due to the "fur", but
never hurt me.
Make sure it's clean, no pestisides or anything.

Yes its perfectly ok to do this as this is what I do every time but its better to wait until the kiwi is properly ripe and very soft so that the skin is not hard. Alternatively you could eat the skin after slicing the kiwi very finely and not taste the difference with the skin still attached and you hardly notice the skin at all

The skin on a kiwi fruit will definitely not kill you, so as long as you wash it off you will be fine. I personally don't enjoy the texture of the skin, so I like to cut it in half and scoop the fruit out with a spoon! Hope this helped! Happy Eating!

It is ok to eat it but it's better if you peel it and just eat the soft fruit inside. It's sort of like saying can you eat the skin of a banana... yes you can but it's far better to peel it first.
