Don't be silly. Fish paste would never do - the mouseskin eyebrows (Mouseyflongs as they were known) were attached using a preparation of grouse phlegm, flint and moss shavings. This not only had the benefit of not smelling fishy but blended in with the natural skin tone to provide a more natural effect.

Because of all those dead cats there were an awful lot of mice and something had to be done with them, but not eyebrows, oh dear no, no, no. They used to sew bunches of them together for use as tea cosies, but their body warmth soon faded, alas.
