NO not if you have injuries in your back, spine etc... you'd need to ensure if you have injuries that any exercises are altered.

Yoga is a panacea. I am sad to see that most people consider this as an exercise regime. But, not it is a way of living.

Yoga can be practised by everyone, irrespective of age, caste, creed or community.

It gives wonderful results. It changes your out look towards the life.It checks your inner and outer well being. More clear, physicall and mental well being is guranteed through the correct practice of Yoga.

Yoga is the art of living in tune with the nature. So, nature plays a vital part in the yogic system of living. Yog, the Sanskrit word means Union. Here it gives the interpretation as we unite with nature by virtue of the science of Yoga.

Most of us believe that Yoga is nothing but a couple of exercises. But it is not. It is the complete science human well being which has been time tested. Actually, Yoga is eight fold which is known as Ashtanga Yoga. This comprises of eight parts viz. Yama, Niyama, Prathyahara,Dharana, Asana, Pranayyama, Dhyana and Samadhi.

Out of this Asanas and Pranayamas are most popular. All the asanas are a series of static and passive stretches only.

In yoga, we concentrate more upon our systematic breathing. You can see, in yoga there in not much dynamic activities unless you go for some hatha yogic postures which require special skills.

You must be aware of that Yoga has got high therapeutic value. The evidence are there with flying colours that yoga can cure all sorts of ailments. Yoga keeps you calm and cool. It enhances your brain power, concentrations etc. It gives you a disease free life if you do regularly.

that's like asking if breathing is good for everybody...yoga has got many forms and the nice thing is anybody can do it, nobody forces you to do what You cant do, you only do what you are ready for...

yes, unless you have some form of severe injury. but once you get better, you can get to it. actually it can help you heal and stay strong..
