The bill replaces 10 taxes, including payroll, fica, social security, medicare, inheritance, savings, capital gains, gift taxes, business and corporaste taxes - and replaces them with a comprehensive consumption tax. With my $26k salary - I will recognize a 12% increase in take home pay. - I can pay the additional 1% out of the 12%. AND - all Americans will get a 'prebate' of the 'poverty' level that we don't pay taxes on. This year, as long as you earn the minimums, each adult will get $188 and each child - $65 - PER MONTH! Our economy will take off - and we will all benefit - Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. Conservative and liberals. And it will take care of our poor folks and allow us all AND our 50 million visitors to contribute to our economy and our government. the FAIR TAX ACT H.R. 25.

Wow...netjr....you haven't even read the FairTax Book, have you? If you did....you'd know that your little business would be hell of a lot easier to run because you wouldn't need to worry about payroll taxes, withholding, etc. You must be in love with the IRS who continues to abuse the people and businesses alike. And the tax is only taxed at the RETAIL level...that's one time only. On top of that, the Government gives you a kickback for turning in tax money. The only people upset about this idea are the ones who haven't taken the time to keep a level head and just simply investigate it thoroughly before making a decision. You can't possibly be in support of the IRS, can you?

Its costing what, $2.5 trillion, to run our government right now. The fair tax or any tax has to raise that or you risk throwing the economy into a depression. The fair tax is not a cut; its a redistribution from the wealthy to the poor. Now I'm a conservative, a libertarian type, and I prefer less government but I also know you can't just start taking in $2 trillion and expect it all to work out - its not. These politicians will not make the necessary cuts.

My real problem with the fair tax is personal. It will kill my little business that I've worked very hard to make provide for me. I mean kill it. My product is purely discretionary the worse the economy the harder it is to sell. Now if I have to sell it for $2.00 plus $1.25 in taxes - its done - I'm done - its over. Everything I built got hosed so you guys could get the poor to pay a bigger share of the tax bill. So try as you will - I will join the liberal commies and fight it tooth and freeking nail. I would like to stay in my small business thank you.

TAKE YOUR FAIR TAX AND SHOVE IT

Democrat Woodrow Wilson signed Americans up for tax slavery. The "Fed" sounds like it's part of the gov, but it's actually own by private banks.
The US has the option to buy out the Fed at any time for 450mil, a small price considering that's about what we pay the fed in interest per day.

We need to do this. We should also start privatizing Social Security.

No he does not. Obama helps regulations which might ban all semi-vehicle shotguns and rifles that are in keeping with any layout ever utilized by making use of the militia or police. Obama additionally needs to limit any ammunition that could penetrate type ONE armor, type ONE being the backside point, which might effectively ban something above .38 particular. not extra .30-30, not extra .30-06, or different donning and searching ammunition, with the aid of fact they could all then be seen "cop killers". And Obama believes it truly is actual seeking to require licenses and registration so the government can refuse to difficulty licenses and registrations with the intention to impose a back-door ban. Obama counts on people like volleyballchick to take areas and bypass judgment on the entire.
