When ths USA gets hit, what happens ?

You wake up one morning to find that a dirty bomb, or an outbreak of anthrax, smallpox or something sinister has occured in a USA city. It's another terrorist attack !!!

No one knows who is responsible.

2 days later the same thing happens again elsewhere in the USA.

How do you think the USA will react ?

The same way they have in all the other cases. White wash the truth to make us the people look stupid this is a favorite thing to do when it comes to our Government. Hide the truth for as long as they can. Then when a smart reporter finds out the truth and it becomes a headline on CNN then the truth comes out. The US will retaliate and find another excuse to send our troops out to fight but yet another war or terrorist conflict. It's like our Government plays Tit for Tat..! It's all a game. They hurt us then we hurt them...back n forth like a tennis match.Its a never ending story. If the US does have another attack I'm afraid that nuclear power will be involved and when that happens then you might be looking at another BIG WAR.

Well, considering that the same people who were responsible for 9/11 will be responsible for the next "attack" -by whom I mean Bush, Cheney, and the rest of the miltiary industrial complex- whatever happens will be whatever they want to happen, that's why they'll orchestrate another attack! What'll happen? My guess would be martial law and all that it entails, and that's just if we're lucky? Worst case scenario? Ever read "The Stand" by Stephen King? Except Bush, Cheney and all those responsible will be off in their secret bunkers or some other secret location safe and sound. Unless there's actually some justice left in the world, and they'll catch the virus or whatever along side the people whome they supposedly took oaths to defend!

Given the posts I have read here.If the east and west coasts were wiped out the country would be better off.
The majority that answered your question are overly protected little brats that can not think past themselves and if they are what America is going to be,I might become a terrorist.
We would first have to tend to the damage and containment issues.We would then make assessments as to who and how.We would retaliate no matter who was in office.We would have to to prevent another devastating attack.More that likely with missiles and carpet bombing,as most of our reserves would be busy here enforcing marshal law to keep all those good little libs from robbing everyone blind.

I know our city has had a lot of classes and training for emergency response so that counselors, meds, and anyone that can do something useful can help out. Then on the national level they will go take care of the terrorists that were so chicken they had to discreetly harm innocent citizens.
