Me and my partner have only been together for about 2months now, but we live like 4hours away from each other. Does anyone have any suggestions about things we can do to keep the relationship fun?? Its hard cos we are also in the stage of gettin to know each other. We have been sending each other rude text messages and pictures for laughs, but does anyone have any other suggestions??? Thanks!! I know how that is...my boyfriend lives 9 hours away from me!
The most important thing is staying i contact, call each other as much as possible, say little cute things all the time, send each other things in the mail, little surprises to let each other know your thinking about them. I send my boyfriend cookies and letters all the time, the little things truely make all the difference.

I was in same situation(2 hrs away)Lots of text messages and long talks every day. But it does make it hard when you see them cause u text instead of talk. I would visit as much as possible and have VERY open communication and trust. The problem i faced is when she moved close i guess we were used to seeing each other on weekends and messaging and lacked "REAL" communication. The relationship failed because of the communication and we are back in same places and don't talk.:( I wish U the BEST

Gurl... I an in the same situation... but my man lives in georgia and i live in ohio.... but me and him always have fun all we do is talk on the phone.. we are on the phone all hours of the night and the morning too... we talk about everything from the future ta sports music... we argue and debate and when we dont got notthin ta talk about we just tell each other how much we love each other. HOPE I HELPED!

The majority of long distance relationship fall by the wayside. The ones that last are the ones in which they end up getting married in the first year. Anything longer than that, it usually fizzles out or someone ends up find someone else.

Send things to one another in the mail, make cds of favorite songs to get to know each other's tastes. Send letters with humor and romance. Put little trinkets or funny things in the snail mail too. It will take you to another level of getting to know one another. Make the phone calls count too. Call him when you are upbeat, feeling good about yourself, and in the mood to "play".

use your imagination, if you have a bit of extra Cash surprise him and show up on his door step im sure you both will enjoy that especally if you miss him
