If you love someone they're the last person you want to let go of.. no wonder why it would be hard. Just because something is the right thing to do, doesn't mean that you want to do it.. I've just let go of the person I loved most. It was the most horrible thing I've ever done. The part that hurt most though, was that he didn't even put up a fight for me.. that's when I finally figured out that I did make the right decision by letting him go. Let him fight for you...

Human emotion is one of the hardest things in life to deal with, especially when it's your own. Ever noticed that if you learned of another person's problem how easy it is to spot the right answer and give it? But when 'we' are the one with the problem, the same logical answer isn't so easy to accept. Decisions are more painful and logic doesn't always follow, in fact it rarely follows.

it hurts because you are supposed to love with your heart, not with your mind. If it is the "right thing to do..." then you are going against your heart and following your mind. That's why it hurts.
A lot of people are looking for someone who they can love with both... few succeed, coz the mind can never love.
I think it is better to love with your heart and let the mind stfu.

it may be just that you are so used to having the person in you life rather than your "love" for him.
