You were frends until you had sex?
Now she is giving you the cold shoulder.
Did she like the sex?
I bet she is worried that she is too old for you or something like that . Or maybe she can't be your lover and friend ,and she needed a friend more than a lover. Or maybe she needs some time to figure out what she wants and you bugging her is going to make it worse.
Get a card that is a thinking of you card without any real mushy flowery I love you kind of stuff on it, write in the card that you are sorry if she is angry, you are sorry if she is hurt, or confused, but you are not sorry you made love to her.
She will either run to you throw her arms around you and kiss you silly or she will call you and tell you she can only be your friend and you have to take it from this point because it gets beyond the set of circumstances I can generalize for you.

First of all you don't know what is bothering her. You are assuming it was the sexual act that lead her to not speaking to you. It could be anything. She may be embarrassed. She may be confused. It could be a number of things. Give her a few days. Leave a message like " I called to see how you are. Hope everything is alright." then wait. If she does not answer in a few days. Leave it alone. It does not mean you have abandon the friendship but the ball will be in her court, If she chooses to end the friendship, leave it alone. She was not as good as a friend as you though if she is not considering your feelings buy not talking to you and is acting like a coward by taking this method to end it.

Maybe she is uncomfortable with the fact that she had sex with you. Sometimes when u are close friends and something like that happens and was not meant to happen, it can change the friendship drastically especially if the other person is having guilty feelings. Give her time and let her get her feelings in order and if she is a true friend she will take some time and then become friends with u again.

Maybe she's confused about the nature of the relationship now, and just doesn't want to deal with it
