I'm a bit of a fence-sitter, though I lean more towards atheism.

God & the bible is too much like a fable to me..& to be honest, I really liked the alternative suggestions made in the Da Vinci Code. YES, I know that book is a work of fiction, however the dimunition (is that the right word?) of women in all Christian faiths strikes a negative chord with me.

I prefer the so-called pagan beliefs that worship both masculine & feminine strengths equally. Isn't that the true balance in nature?

There is no absolute proof that the christian god exist anymore than the gods of greek or latin mythology. People feel a need to believe in something especially in hard times. So if believing in a god helps them get through their day, more power to them. *smiles*

I am an apathetic agnostic, and so I only believe that we cannot know if there is a god or not, and, if there is, they seem apathetic to the happenings in this universe, and so it does not concern me to pursue a belief in this god, or to worship it in any way. This is just what I believe in, though. I do not profess that I am right, just that I do not believe.

There is one thing that can be said about God. Even if you don't believe in Him, He believes in you. I believe in the power of God because of all the physical and emotional healing that has been evident in my life and the lives of others who pray. Prayer is powerful. God is the almighty prayer-answering being. We may not think so, but we get an answer to ALL our prayers. Sometimes the answer is "no." I believe in God because he knows what's best for us, even if we don't.

I don't believe because I don't believe in fables.

I think that this life is it; it's not about getting good karma points for some undefined reward after we die.

I have gone through a long spiritual search and have come to this conclusion. This does not make me a heathen, just a thinking person.

God does not exist.

When someone actually provides credible evidence he (it?) exists, I will believe he (it?) exists.

Because I said so, because trees & mountains are pretty, or because the universe is complex are not evidence God exists.
