Technically, you only need one. It's really just a business, like any other, correct? Am I a car salesman as soon as I sell my first car? Am I a trucking company owner if I have only one truck? Yes, you only need one.
The bigger question, I think, pertains to profitability. How many must one have in order to be a profitable pimp? I don't really know, as I have limited knowledge about the industry, but I've got to think that it would take more than one...

I would say that it would take a good 15 to 20 hoes per pimp to be considered a "real" pimp. Others are just wee pimples.
