Jehovah Witness is in fact a cult. Several ex followers have spoke out about them and there is a ton of anti sites and articles on them.

I personally don't have any respect for cults period.

Cults. Did you know in Jehovah's Witness, if a man rapes a woman or under age girl, or if incest happens, the victim is not allowed to go to the police? The "elders" of the church talk to the rapest or person doing the incest and set and read the Bible with him. That was on our TV news, and several former Jehovah's Witness verified it is true!!!! And as for Mormon's: their leader talks to God. Not pray, but has a two way conversation with God and God directly talks to the leader and tells the leader what laws for the church members to follow. If look up the definition of "cult" you will see that both J. W. and Mormons fit that description.

Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) “Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

I think every denomination is slightly mislead but that doesn't mean that God doesn't love them. If you look long enough you will find what ever it is you "want " to believe. What ever fits your lifestyle. Just because someone sees or understands something differently than what you believe or understand doesn't give you the right to be-little them.I will say again what I have said so many times in the past few days."Arguing over,or trying to prove your point of view is not what being a Christian is about. There are things written in the Bible that no person on this earth will understand while in the present life form! Instead of wasting what time we may have left on this earth arguing over trivial things,we should be helping each other to ready ourselves for what may be coming in our near future. disasters, earthquakes, floods, fires, famine and war.Yes we are seeing those things happening right now and as bad as they have been recently,"We ain't seen nothing yet"!

I will admit. The theology of the two groups is very wrong. Joseph Smith copied the book of mormon from "the Spalding Manuscript", a fictional work of James Spalding, and The watchtower has faults-a-plenty as well.
-And perhaps we wont be saved by "good works", but who are you to say? For that matter, who am I? If you look at organized religion, it's all basically the same: 'There is a god, treat others with respect, do not take what is not yours, conduct yourself with dignity and honor'. All religions have these same basic tenants.
In fact, the Norse religion of the vikings is an allmost direct paralel of the modern christian faith. Baldr, for example, was a peaceful loving god, who was killed to save mankind. Hel is the demon goddess who holds the souls until Ragnarok, which would be a direct paralel of the rapture. Can you say if I pray to Baldr, and live a good life I will burn for it? Different people need different things to motivate them to have faith, hence the many many religions
-Mormans and JW's are often very very good people. They are kind and honorable. Perhaps good works alone will not save you, but would a man who is faithful to god, but a rude person be in the graces of God? Can you say that a man who lives a christian lifestyle but prays to a different god than yours is hellbound?
-The point here is don't assume you know God's plan, and who is in it. It's an insult to God to do so. Even at our most un-loveable moment, God loves us. The bible tells you not to judge, and says the measure by which you judge others will be the measure by which you are judged
.-And know this much. God is not stupid. He doesn't care which
name of his you use to sing his praises; so long as you lov him, you will be among his children

I'm sorry you feel that way. Unfortunately people can say what you just said and people are fine with it, but go around and tell gay people that they need to go away, for example, and you'll have everyone up in arms...what a strange world we live in...

By the way, I'm Mormon and I am well liked from many different types/groups of people. Most of us are just trying to lead good lives and although many times we fall short, I feel sad that you can't see that we're people just like you, trying to do good in this life. Sorry if that's too "we are the world" for you...I hate that type of unrealistic thinking as much as anyone, but hopefully you get what I'm saying.

why don't you like us? we did nothing to you. we are doing what Jesus Christ told us to do. at Matthew 28 ver 19 and 20. we cry and laugh just like you. we shop in the same stores and pay bills just like you. if you don't want us coming to your door, tell us to put you on the do not call list. we are sorry you don't want to talk to us. remember they hated Jesus also for what he was doing, as he was doing the same things we are. get to know us. we love our neighbors as we love ourselves. by the way read what the person above me write.by the way, of course someone who was once a Jehovah Witness and turned his back on Jehovah, of course, they will say bad things about us. why don't you talk to someone who truly loves Jehovah and Jesus. also we are not a cult. we live in our own homes, in 235 lands, and worship Jehovah and Jesus. a cult worship man and lives in the place that he wants. don't believe what itsmeagain. that is not true. Jehovah Witness are not like that, this person must be disfellowshipped.

Those religions are considered "cults." But they need God's love just as anyone else does. Until death, they, too, have a chance to turn to the Truth.

i have friends that are JW and they are the nicest people you would ever want to meet, I personally don't care for Mormons b/c they tend to be prejudice and only allowed African Americans to join their religion so that they could bid on federal govt. contracts. That whole EOE thing.
