theres this guy who is my grade (yr 8) and i really like him and i want him to like me as well what should i do??

It's hard to get someone to like you if they don't already, although being friendly and attentive can help.
If you want to spend time with this guy, you might want to ask him if he'd like to join you in some activity that you like, or ask if you can join him in something that he does. If he's in any of the same classes as you, you might want to talk to him about the class and see if that gets conversation going between you two. If you have any mutual friends that you trust, you might want to ask one of them to ask him about you and see if he might be interested.
There's always a risk that he won't be interested, but even then, the sooner you find out, the sooner you can move on and find someone else to like. And if he would be interested, the sooner you do something about it, the sooner you'll be together. Good luck!

Talk to him, just give him some attention, let him know how you feel. But no matter how much you like him theres no guarantee he'll feel the same way. And if he dosnt... then put a bandaid over the cut and move on.
