I love marmite my favorit sandwich is marmite and lettuce, I have cheese and marmite, just marmite, marmite on warm toast, many mothers in new zealand cut the same toast into strips for babies while teething seems to do the trick, I also sometimes put a spoon full into a cup with boiling water as a drink. its also nice spread on a steak as you grill it, try it on crackers you can go on and on.

I posted the same question a while ago and half the answers were 'What is Marmite?'. I'm definitely a marmite baby. Don't know about recipes though. Just hot toast dripping with butter and marmite.

Marmite is seemingly a very strange food - I can say that although I enjoyed it as a child, I don't eat it much now.
Try Marmite on toast - that tastes good!

Try sticking 2 slices of bread into a toaster for a minute or so. When it pops spread some butter on it and then a little marmite on top of that and sit back with a nice cup of tea and enjoy.
Try stiring some into mince as well.

my veggie mate used to make sprout and marmite soup using the marmite cubes that have mysteriously disappeared from our supermarkets - I gather it was a case of boiling sprouts in made up marmite stock and serving it with lots of butter.

Its really nice on a bagel, the sweetness of the bread works with it well.
I sometimes add a spoon to bolgnese sauce too.
I am a recent marmite convert.
