an ancient way of curling hair is using bear, which is actually good for the hair. wash your hair with bear and let it sit for a while then wash it off. ....
There's a curling spray called Curl Care which i've used personally and love very much... also you could use Gel after washing the hair while wet. then dry a little bit with a towel, leave wet... then split in half and add gel to one side at a time from top to bottom and after applying the gel start assembling the hair with ur hand to the top of your head and let it down again, kind of scrunching it..do the same for other side
then with a hair drier and your fingers try to distribute heat so it gives it volume and sets the gel unless you want to leave the hair dry which i prefer so u don't lose the shine from the gel... i do this everyday
i get many compliments and envies..
good luck, and look hot

Just about any way to curl your hair besides a permanent wave is going to be temporary. You can use curling irons, curlers, or even just braid your hair while it is wet and let it dry.

Rollers. Wash your hair, then roll your hair in rollers, while your hair is still wet, then sit under a hair dryer.
You may also want to use some type of setting lotion/spray on your hair when your rolling it, so it will not be completly dry.
