It was a way to get the pagans to convert to christianity. Easter is always on the first Sunday after the first Full Moom following the first day of Spring. Does that sound like system the christians would use to have a holiday?

Easter, also known as Passover and Pascha, the Feast of the Resurrection, "the Sunday of the Resurrection", or "Resurrection Day", is the most important religious feast of the Christian liturgical year, observed between late March and late April (early April to early May in Eastern Christianity). It celebrates the resurrection of Jesus, which occurred after his death by crucifixion in AD 27-33. people give easter eggs and easter bunnies to each other , then they have good feasts and they pray to lord

they celebrate the "resurrection" but it's a travesty of a previous pagan holiday celebrating fertility. Which was represented by rabbits and possibly eggs? Hence easter bunny.

GOOD QUESTION!!!
Easter is a remebrance of the resurrection of Christ.
UNFORTUNATLY like all other christian holdays, paganism has been mixed with it to confuse the issue.
There is a pagan holiday close to easter that has a fertility "theme" to it.
Hence the rabbit, chicken egg, etc.
Christ's job is hard, to save man's soul.
Satan's job is easy, he doesn't need to get you to believe in him, heck, his job is easier if you DON'T believe he exists, But all he needs to do is confuse you until you die without ever having known Christ.

Like most Christian holidays it's rooted in Paganism. Even the Immaculate Conception was stole from Paganism.

Allegedly to celebrate Passover, but in reality so pagans would more easily accept the religion Constantine forced on them. It is a pagan holiday.
