It sounds like you have been possibly a bit of a "doormat" to this girl. Sorry--but there is such a thing, and it sounds like you may have been it. It sounds like you have lived every moment hanging on her next word. No matter how sincere you are, it does tend to make people bored, and take you for granted. In fact , there is legitimacy to their boredom--if you are SO tuned in to them, they no longer have a truly autonomous, self-directed person to interact with. They are never truly surprised, never disappointed.
Love is not about suffering if you away for more than a second, or sacrificing everything for another's whims. You will suffocate, or she will. I don't know if you are capable of it, but I'd say take a step back--go hiking for a few days without consulting her, say no to something, do something you've been NOT doing, because she's not into it. Don't call--or at least leave several days between calls. In short, get back to YOU a bit--the you that isn't ALL about her. I don't guarantee it'll win her back , but do guarantee it'll up your chances a LOT, and that if it doesn';t work out, you'll be better prepared to handle it. Good luck :)

I am confused by your story. What sort of break were you asking for, what words did you use? What do you think shocked her. Is there a chance that its a communication/ misunderstanding problem.
Sounds like a very intense relationship with alot of money and emotions invested. Sometimes in this kind of relationship you have to be assertive (using compassionate communication) to have your own needs met.

No one is special enough to love more than life itself except for yourself! Sounds like you are putting way too much into someone that is not willing to give you all of themselves.

Let it rest for a while if she wants she will call you.
Don't try to force the issue. If you feel sad call another Friend and talk to them to cheer you up.

maybe you two need a little space to realize what you two really have for each other. love is more than material goods. but if it is true love you already know this.
