It all depends on the vet you use. It can range anywhere from $20 to $400. Call around to find out. You may also want to check with your local humane society or SPCA. Many animal organizations will neuter for free, or for very little. Our local society has a program called neuter scooter for a nickle.

They have organizations that do nickel neuters (only for male cats) so I would call around and find out it would be worth it to check. In Dallas the nickel neuter takes place only once a year but is very popular. And some do it for free but that usually is for ferals and for people that do TNR.
Good luck!

That shouldn't be the question.A female cat can produce 420,000 kittens in 7 years. Pet owners need to figure the cost of neutering and spaying in the price of owning a pet.

Check with your city's services section. Some cities have free neutering service. Good for you for being a responsible pet keeper.

some places offer it at low cost or free as a way to reduce the high cat population. call the SPCA, they can tell you the best places to go to have it done.

It cost me about $150 per kitten. But I got the pre anestesia blood tests because my kittens have feline herpes. so for the actual nutering it cost $100 per kitten.
