Don't you mean Japanese? Yen is the currency of Japan, not China.
Or maybe you meant RMB or Yuan (currency of China!)

Yes, I wondered about the question too. What do they call yen in China wan? I know mot yau chen is a good expression to know in Hong Kong (cantonese.) or just mot chen that is about all I know. Of course if you are a rich American nobody is going to believe mot chen anyhow.
