I was thinking either dress as a 17th century gentleman or go all out with the black metal style.
Any other ideas?

To Paulie: How you get ahold of a 17th century gentleman's outfit is you spend the last 4 years digging around in thrift stores and modifying things.

I'm thinking a pink leotard with a pink frilly tutu!

Always remember to accessorize! Put your hair up w/ a matching pink ribbon and wear some lace up ballerina slippers!

You'll be the belle of the ball... to your parents chagrin! :-)

Since you don't really like them, why put yourself to a lot of trouble. Just go to one of those stores where you can buy that pink or purple or green wash out hair coloring along with some gel and color your hair and spike it up in a bizarre way and then wear some conservative clothes with a tie and act like if anyone is offended they have the problem because you "dressed up" for the occasion didn't you?

Maybe you could find a clip on nose ring just to add to the effect.

i guess it depends on what type of people they are. I must say that the 17th century outfit would be awesome. where exactly does one find a 17th century gentlemens outfit?? i myslef like to offend people by using a heavy "brooklyn/gangster" accent. its pretty fun, especially now that i live in texas, people really dont know what to make of it.

Wear a tie, but tie it way too short. Way obviously short and the like...

Oh yeah, and wear dark dress pants with white tube socks and hike up your pants real high so your white socks show.

If you really want to go all out, bust out the "flip flops and socks" routine. Same white tube socks but with flip flops (sandals). Put that together with your short tie and hiked up pants and you will stick out like a sore thumb.

To top it off wear some dark sunglasses and keep them on when you go inside the restaurant. Give them some excuse like your eyes are sensitive.

It depends a bit on the establishment you are going to, but how about you bother them by outdoing them - dress up better than you know they would for the type of place, be overly nice and polite. Alternatively bring your worst manners to dinner, pick your nose, burp, talk loudly and generally be obnoxious.

how about an ole grungy pair of holey jeans and an old white tee shirt that is holey, grayed out and has the neck stretched, with a pair of some kind of Neon color flip flops, Wear socks too, that's good and tacky.

Have fun!

Try "punk". I suggest the pink spiky mohawk, nose ring, random piercings, chains, and all black. Or "goth". Dark makeup, black everything, long jet black hair, an aditude that says you suck, they suck everything sucks and I hate it all.God I'm glad I don't dress or act like that.
