Looking at the world situation and how bad things are, surely you must agree that God will sort things out soon (ie Revelations, Armageddon etc ).

I would think so, but so have believers since the Apostolic Age who thought that Jesus would return before the Apostles died out. Many people have thought the end was near throughout history, but, it hasn't come to pass. It is always getting closer, but there are many eschatological events listed in Revelations and other places in the Bible that need to come to pass first. Many things are starting to fall together (or apart) though, so who knows? God works in His own timetable and He will accomplish His plan when the time is right. Blessings.

Nope...
This has been the belief of every generation ever since the Apostle's time.

Things may seem bad to you right now, but you are looking at it all from the perspective of your very short lifetime. When you take into account the remarkable evil and shameful things that have gone on in times past, it just seems that humanity is in a constant flux of chaos and peace. This, too, shall pass.

My best advice to the next generation is for them NOT to count on the return of Christ to fix all the problems, but to find a way to make the world a better place.

Together, we can all do better. We have been waiting on God to do it for over 2000 years. I think it's OUR job, not his.

How old are you? Are you a parent?

Do you expect your mum & dad to sort your life out until you die?

Has it occurred to you that 'God' considers us 'intelligent young adults' & expects us to start making our own life-determining decisions?

Maybe Armageddon & Revelations etc. are the 'heavenly' or biblical version of your mum & dad telling you that the ugly face you're pulling will become permanent if the wind changes!

Bad? How so? It's been the same since I can remember. You know what I saw on the news today? People killing people. And the day before? People killing people. And the one before....you get the idea. Things have always been the same. The gods must really enjoy watching us kill ourselves all the time...
