I am researching the Catholic religion and would like to understand it better. Are there prophets in the Catholic religion? Are the Saints the prophets?

Yes, there are prophets in the Catholic religion.

Some of the Saints are prophets.

I am certainly no expert on prophecy, but this article in the Catholic Encyclopedia may help: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/12473a.htm
However, this article is from 1911 and may not completely align with current Church teaching.

No, there are no prophets in thecatholic religion, at least none since before jesus. the saints are people who have either performed miracles, or done something else amazing, or been persecuted and killed for being catholic.

We are all annointed "...Preist,Prophet,and King..." in baptism.
The saints are the ones that have performed miracles, martyrs are the ones who died for God or being catholic
