When my daughter was born, I got to cut the cord and see the placenta slosh around in a rubbermaid dishpan.. It was GREAT.
No nausea whatsoever.. I guess I visited that ogrish.com website a few too many times in my life.

A father at a local hospital here in CA was, and it wasnt the happiest moment for him. His wife was in labopr and she had to get an epidural. So as the medical staff turned her on her back, the husband watched them insert that big needle into her back. He became pale as most of the people who feel ill by even the sight of a needle. The injection did not go through and at that, a staff member attempted to inject the patient again. All the hospital members heard the husband say was, "not again". At that, he passed out and hit the corner of his head on an edge of concrete. He entered a comma and died about two days after the babies birth.
I learned about this throught the news paper. Perhaps not all dads get such a happy feeling when they try supporting their wives while they are in labor.
So in response to the uestion, yes, this guy got sick, and died from it.

Yeah. C-section too. It was actually quite cool. The only problem was I was terrified they would boot me out, so when I was filming them lifting the kid out of my then wife's laid open belly and they told me "that I didn't want to film this" (though I did). I sat down kinda mopey until they said I could get up and see my son. I was wondering if they were worried about being on film in the event of malpractice or something. My suggestion is to speak with the OB-GYN ahead of time about what is and isn't acceptable in the delivery room so you don't have to worry about being kicked out.

my father didnt even make it to my birth. The hospital sent him home with the promise it would be around 10 hours before i was ready to be born. while he was in the shower at home it was becoming more and more ovbious i was coming and coming soon. They call my father who immediatally rushes to the hospital. on his slow ride up the elivator i was born.. needless to say with the other two children he had he refused to leave the hospital.

i think of that possibly they must be climate they decide to or no longer. some men experience that with the aid of fact they can not replace into pregnant, beginning administration isn't their duty. Witnessing an abortion could lead on them to comprehend that this could be an truly adverse suggestions-set. it truly is a few thing that the two people ought to settle for duty for.

I was there, twice, and the event was totally cool both times. Even when blood splashed all over the place, I was OK.
A couple of years latter, I fainted watching my baby get a blood test.

my husband was in the room and i distinctly remember that he kept asking the dr. "is that normal" over and over again...
i had a natural birth (with no pain reliever, seriously... ... we got to the hospital too late.. i was already dilated to a 6 and they couldn't give me anything for pain..) anyway.. the amount of blood loss .. placenta .. .. etc. just didn't set well with my husband
but surprisingly enough he didn't get sick.. i guess he knew that we needed him to hold it together
