Leave messages at the vet's office. Sometimes the vet has someone come check messages.... Other than that just try to keep the cat comfortable in a confined room.

If your cat is still active and has an apetite, don't panic. Just get him into the vet first thing on Monday. It may be a parasite. If he's not hungry, and he's lethargic, it may be more urgent. You may need to find an emergency vet, but they're not cheap.

You are absolutely ridiculous. A Saturday night and NO vet. Nonsense you are just too mean to spend the extra cash for the poor cat. I hope the day you die your pathway is lined by cats and they should bite you on the butt> Stooge!

Is it possible he got into something? Chemicals? Did you recently change his food? There aren't any emergency vet clinics around your area? Check in the phone book, just to be sure. Good luck.

Most vets have an on-call Vet that can answer questions and tell you if this is an emergency.
Call your regular vets office and on their message they will refer you to the one on-call.
I wish your cat the best.

usually the vet will have an emergency number. Call the office and the answering mahcine should pick up. Listen to the message and it will tell you "if this is an emergency, please call xxx number"
If you see blood then that means something is seriously wrong.

I can't believe that emergency veterinary service is not available. Perhaps you should check it out? It may cost more but is certainly worth the price.
