This guy I work with is obsessed with young gals. It's getting to the point where he's bugging me now that my guy is deploying. I've told him numerous of times I just like him as a friend. He keeps at with trying to get me to go to dinner and other things & my guy is fixing to explode b/c of this dude keeps bothering me. I just get tired of repeating myself time and time again. I've already spoke with my boss/managers and they wont do anything. I'm feeling really uncomfortable with the fact of him getting a little too close. My guy says if he keeps at when he comes home in august for r&r he will take care of it. And I dont want him to b/c he'll be in a world of trouble. So the question in mind is what do I do to stop this guy before things start to get out of control? Because apparently being blunt still isn't getting across to him.

Kick him in the nuts! That should solve your problem. lol But okay, no if you really want a serious answer, then I'd say to keep insisting this issue on your boss/managers. If they don't do anything about it, then you've got a bigger issue because it is sexual harrassment occurring in the work place and they should make sure it doesn't happen. It is their duty to stop this guy. If threy don't do it, talk to the police. They might be able to talk to the managers and tell them to make the guy stop. You could always get a restraining order, but that might be bit more trouble since both of you work in the same place. Good Luck!

I dunt know how to actually help u out but did u consider of leaving ur job or reporting the matter to the authorities or police. why dont you just ignore him. i know its not easy but thats one option. i study and work at a university and there r 2guys(who dont know each other) who always seem to be after me and flirt around. my boyfriend is a real hot tempered guy, he works n study's out here too with a solid respectful reputation. just like you, i wud not want my boyfriend to mess up with the other guys coz it might harm him and me as well...i cant leave the university but least i can do is ignore the guys and becareful not to cross them..its difficult but have to...if you still have problems then i think you shud really get serious abt reporting the matter to the police. Your employer is clearly not doing enough to what sounds to me like sexual harrasment. If he's really that bad, next time he bothers you in work shout at the top of your voice "I'm not interested you pervert leave me alone" Try your managers again, if that doesn't work try and gather proof he's bothering you, leave and sue them for constructive dismissal.
