I do sin, but through the grace of Christ I am no longer considered a sinner in God's eyes. Praise the Lord!

1 John is my all time favorite letter!
He wrote to us so that we might not sin and goes on to say that if we do we have an advocate with the Father...Jesus
Who will not only forgive, but cleans us from all unrighteousness.
Jesus showed us that living by faith we can be holy and perfect as the bible says we must be.
The fact remains that ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
so according to this verse we are all sinners. But contrary to some teachers and preachers we can live a victorious life, over coming sin just as He overcame and we will sit on His thrown with Him! Awesome!
A righteous person falls 7 times. The difference is that the righteous one allows God to pick them back up!

Yes.
"For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23

Saved by grace.
"It is by grace you have been saved through faith." - Ephesians 2:8
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him." - John 3:16-17

Forgiveness of sin.
"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourseves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:8-9

I am a sinner, why do you care and ask? I guarantee you I think conscientiously with all my actions and often these actions are defined as sins....by people who interpret them this way by reading the bible.

I don't worry about how my actions are defined by others....I know whats right and wrong and understand the meaning of a rule and why its there and what people are indirectly getting at (or are trying to get me to behave in a favourable way for them) by enforcing it.

Most certainly I am a sinner. However, I believe that Jesus Christ the Lord died on the Cross to pay for ALL of my sins.

I don't know exactly what that scripture thing has to do with it, but yeah; I've broken every Commandment at least once, so I definitely count as a sinner.

You've got correct answers already:
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1John 1:8

NO ONE CAN CONSIDER THEMSELVES WITHOUT SIN BECAUSE THAT IS A SIN ITSELF. ONLY JESUS WAS PROCLAIMED TO BE A NON-SINNER IN HUMAN FORM IN THE BIBLE--HE DIED FOR OUR SINS, SO THAT WE CAN BE FORGIVEN OF OURS.

I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU IN YOUR QUEST FOR TRUTH.
GOD BLESS YOU!

I do NOT AGREE--
Some dude just wrote those words when he was bored and angry at the world one day.

I think God loves all of us, "sinner" or not.

Cordelia's comment:
Yes, God loves us all and has given us freedom to choose our path: Life & Love of LORD or Death & Love of Self. Sin is the consequence of abusing that freedom by living by our own agenda / missing the mark and choosing my way over God's way. When I see the folly of my sin, I realize it is a cycle that is hard to break--habitual inside myself. I'm stuck. At this we may cry "O wretched woman/ man that I am, who can save me?" (Romans 6 or 7) This implies we need Someone outside the sin cycle to break in and save. That Someone is Jesus Christ--the only one who could save because only He is Holy being God. He came to Seek and Save those who are Lost. That's exactly what we sinners are without Jesus. Even Christians can get lost occasionally, so we need to keep our focus on the Lord, but even if we lose our footing-- slip, stumble, fall-- by sinning, God's saving grace is sure and unfailing. He will keep you in His Righteous Hand, He provided the Way through Christ and salvation is a one time decision God will honor. Romans also points out that we are not to just continue to try to sin (so that grace may abound all the more). There is baseness and rude immaturity in such. God is not mocked. He knows those who are sincere (without dross or impurity) in motives.

Like Psalm 139-- "Search my heart, O Lord, and see if there be any wicked way in me. Lead me in the way of the everlasting." Our problem today in our sin crazed and dazed society is that we are losing the ability to be ashamed of our sin. Our consciences are hardened and marred by the baseness in society (TV, schools) and seared from allowing the light of the world to penetrate..

Sounds like you need to get to know your Savior. Read the Bible in total. Not just a few glib phrases extracted from it. Read a few chapters in Romans 6 - 8. This is about the sin cycle we all will struggle with until we die.

guess that depends on who is judging me today!
judge not lest you be judged yourself!
ty_kinney -- PLEASE read this in context! It doesn't mean have no self examination or judgment about sin. You're saying this to encourage getting away with as much as you can. You might as well put your head in the sand!
We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God...

there is none good, other than the Father.
